Classification of students is done at the beginning of the fall term and is for one full year with the exception of students in their fourth year of high school who may move within range of graduation during the school year.
Junior classification = a student who is in the third year of high school and has satisfactorily completed 12 credits. |

The Horatio Alger Association scholarship programs provide financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have significant financial need, have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity, strength of character, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education, and a desire to contribute to society. Students must apply online December 1 - March 15 at scholars.horatioalger.org.
